SDCPF PROJECT:

UKRAINE
FREEDOM
PROJECT

The San Diego Prosperity Foundation is the proud fiscal sponsor of the Ukraine Freedom Project.

Three days after the Russian invasion, San Diego County Prosperity Foundation Director Steven Moore, a Capitol Hill vet, left his job, hopped a flight to the war zone, and founded the Ukraine Freedom Project (UFP) to help those in need.

UFP’s network of trusted and vetted partners has a proven ability to deliver aid to places deemed too dangerous by larger organizations.

Since March 2022, UFP has delivered more than $1 million in aid to areas near the front including: 22 hospitals stocked with medical supplies; 110+ Ukrainians evacuated from hot spots; 200+ tons of food for civilians; 20 generators to families, villages and hospitals; 1500kw power bank and drone for war crimes investigators; 20 Chromebooks for children forced to attend class remotely because their schools were destroyed; and life-saving body armor and Starlink transceivers to the Eastern front.

Additionally, through Moore’s media efforts, the Ukraine Freedom Project also helps keep the Ukrainian story in front of the world, and Moore’s professional relationships in Washington and beyond continue to provide opportunities to educate policymakers globally about the realities of what is happening “on the ground” in-country.
